Students from the East Ilidža Secondary School in East Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska (RS BiH) will attend Moscow Victory Parade on May 9, said the center's director, Svetlana Čolaković.
"This is an exceptional opportunity for our students to personally experience the atmosphere of respect for those who gave their lives for freedom. It is a great honor and privilege, because we are the only school in our country that will have the opportunity to attend such an important event," the high school principal said on the radio and television of Republika Srpska.
Čolaković noted that this trip to Russia is of a cultural and educational nature. Students from Republika Srpska were in Krasnodar together with their teachers from April 21 to 26. The authorities of Krasnodar Region and the mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, organized their visit to Moscow’s celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over fascism.
