Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Russia, as well as ambassadors of foreign states laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, reports a RIA Novosti correspondent.
The event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As explained to RIA Novosti by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all ambassadors accredited in Moscow, including those of unfriendly countries, were invited to the flower-laying ceremony.
The event was attended by Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation - Alexander Pankin, Mikhail Galuzin , Andrei Rudenko and Yevgeny Ivanov. There were ambassadors of the USA, Israel, Palestine, Belarus, Bolivia, Yemen, Armenia, China, Azerbaijan, India, Pakistan, Algeria, Slovakia, Burkina Faso, the Central African Republic, the Netherlands, the DPRK, Greece and other countries.
