Totally, the stands in Red Square to be installed for the Victory Parade will be capable to accommodate 6,740 viewers, the press service of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation reported.
Works to install and decorate temporary structures have begun in Red Square and Alexander Garden in preparation for the 80th anniversary of Victory.
"The Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation is installing stands between the Spasskaya and Nikolskaya Towers. This year, three 6-meter-high stands will be installed. The total capacity will be 6,740 seats, including specially equipped areas for people with disabilities," the press service said.
The department has noted that the works are being carried out as planned, and the installation will be completed by the start of rehearsals for the main celebrations.
