"Victory Readings" is a large-scale project telling about the great feats of soldiers and ordinary citizens during the Great Patriotic War, be it their heroic participation in combat operations on the front lines, defense of the Fatherland or selfless work at factories and plants on the home front. They involve a whole series of public events with famous theater and film actors, musicians, sports stars and public figures.
Moscow saw the first event of the series, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The event took place at Mayakovskaya metro station on the night of December 4-5, 2024. The date was not chosen by chance - on December 5, the Red Army's counteroffensive near Moscow began resulting in the further victorious advance of our troops, which became the starting point to liberate the Homeland from enemy occupiers.
